ENVIRONMENTAL

NBHH/NCC have been involved in a number of environmentally related projects. From the design – build of the first Solid Waste Sorting and Handling project to the management of the first private contract for the collection of solid waste in Al Ain, NBHH/NCC operations have evolved to cater to niche environmental projects of the sort. This element not only includes both hard and soft landscaping but also regulates environmental emissions and discharges as the construction works proceeds. A recent project on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi demanded particular care in the protection of the existing ecosystems, such as the adjacent mango swamps and the added necessity for fauna protection.
